Martinis and Art is a unique and whimsical fundraiser! The price of your admission ticket includes one ticket stub for your chance to win the piece of art of your choice. At the event, all the donated works of art will be displayed for your viewing pleasure. Place your ticket stub in the bowl by the artwork you want to win. Then, we will hold a live drawing for each piece so the lucky winners can take their art home.
This event is loads of fun with great conversation and yummy Martinis, of course! You can also purchase additional art ticket stubs if you cannot decide on one piece of art. We hope you will join us this year!
Our inaugural event was a huge success! Attendees were treated to a night of food, drinks, jazz and great art. Twenty-two regional artists donated amazing pieces in support of this event. In 2012 more attendees and more talented artists donated more incredible artwork! Musician Jonathan Edwards and WCSH co-host Kathleen Shannon helped announce the lucky and ecstatic winners at the end of the evening. Over the past two years over $40,000 was raised to support the American Cancer Society’s Navigator Program in Maine, helping close to 1,200 Maine cancer patients navigate their cancer journey each year.
This year we had Jonathan Edwards and Kathleen Shannon back with us, along with many new and returning artist creations. We raised $20,000. Please consider supporting this event next year through sponsorships, attendance, and/or art donations. Thank you!
